Great work. I second the request to add support for SQL project icons if possible. Thanks for helping us all out.

I combined this with the NiceVS extension http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/a36021f0-770a-4258-854e-724e9d12b8a6?SRC=Home) and virtually everything is back to "normal". It was simply amazing how my brain flipped into happy mode the first time VS2012 opened up with the new (old) icons. I could instantly see where everything was. If we ever run across each other, I owe you a beer.

A true relief :) Doesn't fix all icons yet, but a proper solution explorer and intellisense is all I need anyway.

A work of sheer and utter genius! I was about to try to do this myself with a resource editor - no doubt hours of work - and then Googled and found you already had! And oh the irony - it's hosted on Microsoft codeplex! And then they just gave me a feedback form so I could totally praise your efforts, and totally slate theirs with the abortion of a UI design that is the VS2012 icon design. :D

THANK YOU! They are a few icons that haven't changed but at least it is now bearable.

Awesome! Thanks so much. Some of us like our changes doled out slowly, in small doses. Adding the icons back in helps keep some continuity between releases. This, in combination with Matt Johnson's theme editor, makes it seem like not much has changed in the visual aspects of the IDE.
